_ WHO WE ARE

KAAX is a broad, inclusive coalition dedicated to ending xenophobia and building unity among all who live in South Africa, regardless of origin. We are committed to a South Africa—and a continent—where every person can live in dignity, free from violence, discrimination, and exclusion

GRASSROOTS POWER AND CROSS-COMMUNITY SOLIDARITY

We organize in communities; urban, formal and informal to advocate for unity among all who face inequality and marginalization. Our approach is rooted in solidarity not charity, empowering people to stand together across nationalities, genders, and backgrounds. Through assemblies, workshops, and community-based campaigns, we build collective power to demand better services, safety, and social justice.

Collective Voices for Health Access

This booklet is built on the principle of solidarity, offering a clear roadmap to the healthcare rights guaranteed to every person living in South Africa. This guide directly confronts the scapegoating of migrants with hard evidence, revealing the deeper systemic failures that truly undermine our health system. Inside, you will find easy-to-follow flowcharts, explanations of free services, and contacts for legal support, turning complex laws into practical power. It is an indispensable resource for community activists, health workers, and anyone who believes in a just society.
